Yoleni's

A direct import from Greece.

By Jenna Pelletier

An outpost of Athens-based Yoleni’s, this Greek food emporium combines a gourmet grocery store with an all-day restaurant. Grab a stuffed pita or Cretan Dakos salad for a quick lunch, or stop by in the evening for a more formal, full-service dinner. Chef George Panagiotis stays true to cooking things the way he did in Greece—dishes like Plaki, a baked sea bass, and Chicken with Hilopites (an egg pasta) are case in point. (Naturally, they’re paired here with classic Greek wines like minerally Assyrtiko from Santorini.) Fill up a shopping basket with olive oil, feta, and honey soda to tote home.
