Long Live Beerworks

A youthful urban brewery.

By Jenna Pelletier

Long Live Beerworks keeps its funky, fresh tap list full of stouts and New England IPAs. Recent offerings include imperial milk stout Small Joys, brewed with lactose and coconut; Surrounded by Ghosts, a kettle sour punched up with pineapple and mango; and double IPA The All Seeing Eye, made with Citra, Kohatu, and Simcoe hops. After getting his start in a walk-in closet-sized storefront on Providence’s West Side, brewer Armando DeDona recently moved his operation about a mile away to this sprawling 3,500-square foot space in a former factory building. Head up to the mezzanine level, where there’s lots of seating, and you can look down into the production space while sipping your beer.
