When Proprietors opened in 2013, it was one of the only places on the island to find a great craft cocktail. Mixology has caught on elsewhere, but the team here is still playing at the top of their game. With a list of 10 house cocktails, you can’t really go wrong, whether it’s No. 1, a refreshing pisco and kumquat number rendered frothy with egg white, or No. 10, the effervescent draft Aperol drink with prosecco, lychee, and rose water. We’re also fans of the extensive beer collection: from draft to cans to bombers—plus a sparkling rose cider. Oh, and if you’re a wine drinker, co-owner and sommelier Orla LaScola has put together an extensive list to complement Chef Michael’s global small plates. Chances are, whatever you think you want to drink, the LaScolas have something even better behind the bar.
